HOUSTON, TX- The Harris County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in an aggravated robbery at a convenience store in the Aldine area.
On Sunday, September 20, 2026, at approximately 10:49 p.m., a black Nissan Altima pulled into the parking lot of Aldine Food Mart, located at 5303 Aldine Mail Route Road.
Investigators say the driver backed into a parking space before entering the store and pretended to make a purchase from a display case. As the employee approached the display to assist him, four additional males exited the vehicle and entered the business.
Two of the suspects were armed, one with a handgun and another with an AR-style pistol. The suspect armed with the handgun forced the employee into a restroom while the driver removed vape products from a display case and placed them into a backpack carried by another suspect.
Meanwhile, two additional suspects went behind the counter and stole two cash registers containing an undisclosed amount of cash. All five suspects fled the scene in the black Nissan Altima.
Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the driver, who has a distinctive tattoo on the upper portion of his right forearm.
Anyone who recognizes the suspect, has information about the black Nissan Altima, or knows anything about this robbery is urged to contact the Harris County Sheriff’s Office at 713-221-6000 or Crime Stoppers of Houston at 713-222-TIPS (8477).
