Randle Leaving Mayde Creek High School; Katy ISD Looking for Athletic Hall of Honor Nominations

By George Slaughter Brian Randle is stepping down as Mayde Creek High School athletics director and football coach to take a similar job at a new school named after his father. According to reports, Randle is joining Dr. Thomas E. Randle High School in the Lamar Consolidated Independent School District. Katy on Boil Water Notice; Katy ISD Closed through Friday

By George Slaughter The City of Katy early Wednesday morning instituted a boil water notice in effect, until further notice, in response to the severe weather this week. Citizens are asked to boil and cool all water used for drinking, cooking, and ice making. The water should be brought to a vigorous boil and then boiled for two minutes.
