Morton Ranch Teacher and Coach to Be Buried Friday

By George Slaughter Funeral services have been set for Morton Ranch High School teacher and assistant football coach Stephen Papp, who was killed in an automobile accident over the weekend. Authorities have not yet released details about the accident. Papp’s funeral is set for 3 p.m. Friday at Good Shepherd Episcopal Church, 2929 Woodland Hills Dr., in Kingwood, which was his hometown. UIL Classifies Paetow Panthers in Class 5A

By George Slaughter The University Interscholastic League, which oversees Texas high school sports, placed Katy’s newest high school sports program in Class 5A this morning as part of its annual reclassification and realignment effort. Paetow High School opened last fall. The Panthers debut their varsity sports program this fall.
