Two Katy ISD Yearbooks Named Finalists for Top National Awards

The Paetow High School Portfolio yearbook and the Katy Junior High Tiger Tracks yearbook have been named nationwide finalists for the coveted Columbia Scholastic Press Association (CSPA) Crown Awards.  On an annual basis, CSPA vets and honors top school yearbook and newspaper publications for excellence in content, design, coverage, photography, as well as writing and editing. Katy-Area Junior High Students Raise Money to Feed Homeless

By George Slaughter Students from five Katy Independent School District junior high schools raised over $5,000 to feed the homeless. The National Junior Honor Society chapters at Beck, Katy, McMeans, Seven Lakes, and Stockdick junior high schools collected gift cards and presented them to Hope Impacts, a local nonprofit organization.
