Maren Jensen, dental assisting student at Houston Community College – Coleman College for Health Sciences, is the recipient of a $1,000 scholarship from the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS) Foundation. A member of the NSLS chapter at HCC Coleman College, Jensen applied for the Financial Aid and Materials Grant scholarship in February and received notice of her award on May 8. Katy Area Community Band to Feature Yoojin Lee-Williams in Upcoming Concert

The Lone Star Symphonic Band will feature Pianist Yoojin Lee-Williams in a concert slated for February 27th, 2022. The concert, titled “Take Note(s)”, will be performed at Holy Covenant United Methodist Church, 22111 Morton Ranch Dr., Katy, Texas. The concert will begin at 4:00 pm, with tickets available for purchase on the band’s website (www.lssb.org) for $7.00 each.  Tickets will be available at the door the day of the concert for $11 each.
