Houston Community College Hosts Virtual Registration, Admissions Fair

Houston Community College (HCC) and Workforce Solutions will host a virtual registration and admissions fair from 10 – 11:30 a.m., Friday, September 10, 2021. Prospective students for the fall 2021 semester will have an opportunity to visit with academic counselors, obtain financial aid information and learn about HCC workforce programs.

If the pandemic has you looking for a new or better job, updated skills can expand your prospects. Houston Community College offers a wide range of in-high-demand Workforce Training programs at little to no cost to those who qualify.

“Now is the time to go school,” said Michael Webster, Ph.D., Associate Vice Chancellor of Workforce Instruction. “If you’ve been on the fence about going to school but thought it was out of reach financially, that is no longer the case. Due to the pandemic, funding for financial aid to support students with tuition and fees has dramatically increased.”

To register for the event, visit: www.wrksolutions.com/jobfair, and click the large, orange “Register” button near the bottom of the page. We’ll only ask for the prospective student’s name and basic contact information so that we may provide additional information in the future. Before completing the registration, prospective students will also select the event for which they are registering: “Friday, September 10, 2021 – HCC Career Training and Education Expo.”
