The Puranik Foundation Hosts “Yoga, Artz and Brunch for Educator’s Empowerment”

A Mindfulness Event for Educators on Saturday, October 16, 2021

The Puranik Foundation, a nonprofit organization headquartered in Houston and operating a private residential school in India, will host “Yoga, Artz and Brunch for Educator’s Empowerment”. The mindfulness event for educators will take place on Saturday, October 16, 2021, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Rise Rooftop in Houston. The Foundation will provide all levels of yoga practice, a three-course plant-based organic brunch, booths from local artists, henna, and live music.

“We appreciate educators and cherish the work they do to empower the next generation. This live event is curated specifically for them to unwind, bring awareness to the now, and give their body and mind the love they so often give out,” said Puranik Foundation’s Managing Director Bhakti Salunkhe.

The event is free for educators with preregistration and non-educators can purchase tickets for $44 at https://www.puranikfoundation.org/events/yabee. The proceeds will benefit the Foundation’s Devices for Dreams campaign, which is aimed at raising $25,000 that will provide 100 tablets for children attending the Vision International Learning Center (VILC) in Pune, India. The funds will provide a digital device and resources for the children to continue learning online and at a distance.
