Niche rankings of Fort Bend County’s Best Charter Schools for 2022 dominated by Harmony Public Schools campuses

The rankings are in and once again Harmony Public Schools has dominated Niche’s annual rankings of the Best Charter Schools in Fort Bend County.

The STEM-focused public charter school system had all five schools in Fort Bend County rank #1 or #2 of their respective categories by Niche for 2022.

Each of these schools received an “A” Grade from Niche, which lauded the schools for their low student-to-staff ratio, academic achievement, college preparation and student body diversity.

Harmony Public Schools includes a total of 21 campuses within the Greater Houston area, including in Houston, Katy, Sugar Land, Cypress, Beaumont, and Bryan. The system emphasizes project-based learning, a strong foundation in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math), College Preparation and Character Education for students in Title I schools.

Charter schools are tuition-free public schools that are open to all Texas students. Public charter schools make up roughly 20 percent of the Texas Education Agency’s “A” Rated public school districts.

Harmony Public Schools will be accepting applications for free, open enrollment for the 2022-2023 school year. To learn more or apply, visit HarmonyTX.org/Apply.
