Record 2021 Atlantic Hurricane Season Ends

November 30, 2021, marked the official end of the 2021 Atlantic Hurricane Season. There were 21 named storms this season with seven hurricanes, four of which were classified as major hurricanes. What is the danger? Subtropical Storm Theta has formed in the open Atlantic. Theta is the 29th named storm of the 2020 Hurricane Season, and this breaks the record for the most number of storms in a single hurricane season.
