Katy ISD Public Notice and Opportunity to Comment on the Safe Return to In-Person Instruction and Continuity of Services Plan and Use of Funds Plan

Texas Education Agency (TEA) has allocated Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) funds in response to the Covid-19 pandemic for the 2021-2024 school years to Katy ISD.

Katy ISD continues to review both plans semi-annually with an opportunity for stakeholders to give feedback.  Katy ISD is currently requesting stakeholder feedback to assess the district’s updated Safe Return to In-Person Instruction and Continuity of Services Plan and Use of Funds Plan.  Stakeholders are invited to give input during the Public Hearing at the December 12, 2022, Board of Trustees Meeting. The meeting will be held at 6301 S. Stadium Lane at 5:00 PM in the Board Room. Email publicrecords@katyisd.org with your name and specific topic of discussion no later than 2:00 PM on the day of the meeting.  If stakeholders are not able to attend the Public Hearing, they are able to send written feedback through the ESSER@katyisd.org email.  Deadline to send feedback about the updated plans is December 12, 2022.
