Harris County Public Health Suspends the Johnson & Johnson Vaccination

In light of the decision by the FDA to pause the Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen vaccine, the FEMA operated Community Vaccination Center (CVC) at NRG Park will administer the Pfizer vaccine today. Please tune in for additional updates from by the CDC & the FDA.

Harris County Public Health will not be dispensing the Johnson & Johnson vaccine at any of its other vaccination sites until further guidance. Our mobile community vaccine sites will operate as scheduled with the Moderna vaccine.

HCPH will continue to provide information as we have it.
