The State of the Construction Industry webinar set for October 28

The latest techniques, opportunities and requirements for launching a successful career in the construction industry will be covered in a free, online webinar hosted in partnership by Houston Community College’s Architectural Design & Construction Center of Excellence and Skanska, one of the world’s leading construction and development groups.

“The State of the Construction Industry” is designed to give those exploring career options in construction – or interested in furthering their existing construction careers – the opportunity to speak to executives and professionals on the front lines and in the main office. Leading representatives from AUTOARCH Architects, LLC, also will be on hand to share information on architectural construction careers.

“We see this webinar as a golden opportunity for anyone wanting to know what’s really happening in the construction field from a career perspective,” says Kris Asper, P.E., Dean of HCC Central’s Architectural Design & Construction Center of Excellence. “So many times, people think they know how it is to work in construction, but there is so much to it. This webinar helps give participants a look at the depth, breadth and exciting new avenues they can explore that they may not have previously considered.”
