In preparation for the 2018 growing season, Texas A&M AgriLife Extension offices in Fort Bend, Brazoria, and Waller Counties will be having a Winter Row Crops meeting hosted by the Fort Bend County Row Crops Committee. The meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at the Rosenberg Civic Center, located at 3825 Highway 36 South in Rosenberg. The registration will begin at 8:00 a.m. with the first presentation scheduled for 8:30 a.m. The program will conclude with a lunch provided by program sponsors.
Information to be covered includes the Auxin Specific Applicator Training (Required to apply dicamba products in cotton), 2018 Farm Bill Update, Long-term Weather Outlook, SCA Update, and Cotton and Grain Market Outlook. Presenters include faculty and staff of Texas A&M University, AgriLife Extension, the Texas Department of Agriculture, South Texas Cotton and Grain, and industry representatives.
