The HPRA lunch speaker this Friday is Charles Blain, the Houston Bureau head for Empower Texans, a non-profit service organization promoting good governance, and accountability for elected officials. Mr. Blain will discuss the current situation for civil asset forfeiture, and the prospects for tax-payer friendly reforms.
