The Cinco Ranch Branch Library will present a special “Family Movie Day” on Thursday, March 15, beginning at 1:30 p.m., in the Meeting Room of the library, located at 2620 Commercial Center Blvd in Katy. Families with children of all ages are invited to enjoy an afternoon movie!
Families will be treated to an animated comedy feature starring Steve Carell as Gru, an ex-supervillain who finds himself in the midst of a major identify crisis after being fired from the Anti-Villain League for failing to take down the latest bad guy to threaten humanity. A mysterious stranger shows up and informs Gru that he has a long-lost twin brother who desperately wishes to team up with him for one last criminal heist.
The third in a series of popular family films featuring Gru, this movie is rated PG. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver.
The event is free and open to the public. The libraries’ licensing agreement for public showing of films prohibits them from releasing the name of the movie outside of the library.
