A book of 366 stories about God’s awesome answers to prayer at The Fellowship, a church located at Peek Road and Westheimer Parkway in Katy, has recently been released. This collection of true and often miraculous stories reflects almost every challenge encountered in life.
Nearly 20 years ago, in each worship service, The Fellowship decided to include a quiet time for individual prayer and for submission of prayer requests and praises. A team of intercessors was recruited to pray for the requests during the worship services and throughout the week.
The Lord responded in mighty ways! Praises for answered prayers were too exciting not to share with the congregation. A “God Answers Prayer” story began to be included each Sunday in the church’s program and also posted weekly on the website – www.thefellowship.org. God has faithfully provided a prayer story for every single week throughout the years.
God’s Amazing Answers To Prayer is a sampling of those stories. It was compiled by Nancy Newbrough who coordinates the church’s Prayer Ministry. Each story is accompanied by a Bible verse and a prayer. For every day of the year, the stories provide inspiration and witness to the mighty power of God to transform even seemingly impossible situations.
The books are available for a suggested donation of $10 for an electronic copy, $15 for a paperback copy picked up at the church, and $20 for a paperback copy that is mailed. Orders can be placed online at https://thefellowship.brushfire.com/events/440243.
