Clark Selby announces release of ‘Two Cowboys in New York’

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – In Clark Selby’s “Two Cowboys in New York” (published by Trafford Publishing, readers will follow two cowboys visiting a large city who are confronted by the challenge to find a friend’s father. They eventually deal with the Mafia, but the two cowboys did not play by their rules. The cowboys only had one rule – to win.

In the book, two cowboys are in New York to attend a wedding and find the bride’s father who has disappeared after he attended a meeting at the New York City Harbor. They decide to take on the problem of finding their friend’s father and soon become entangled with the Mafia.

“I thought it would make an interesting book using two characters from my two earlier Western’s and put them together in New York City,” the author explains the book’s inspiration.

An excerpt from the book reads:

The next morning, the family gathered around the breakfast table as Michael slowly unfolded the morning edition of “The Sun” and saw the lead story on the front page was all about one of the richest men in the nation, John Sterling, disappearing a few days before his only daughters’ wedding.
