New book challenges readers to accept every difficulty with rejoicing
Author Marie Elizabeth reminds readers Christ is there to help in ‘Count It All Joy?’
CLAYTON, Del. – With her new book “Count It All Joy?” (published by WestBow Press), author Marie Elizabeth has a singular goal: To remind readers that, regardless of the hardships they may face, Jesus Christ is always there to guide them, as he promises in the Bible, and that every situation should be met with rejoicing.
“There is joy to be applied in every situation, since growth is sure to follow,” says Elizabeth. “Every person must walk through dark times and dark circumstances. The key however in growing in those situations is opening one’s eyes to see God at work in each experience and to leave no lessons behind so as to have something to apply or share in the future.”
In the book, Elizabeth not only offers readers insights into how God will help them through their trials, but also discusses why such difficulties exist to begin with – suggesting that in order to understand how Christ can help, one must understand why he offers his hand.
Elizabeth adds, “I would like readers to take away from this writing that God is real, his promises are real, a relationship with him is also real and accessible to them if they believe and accept it to be so.”
