“Mrs. B Goes To The Sea” By Kathleen Beining

Young girl learns value of kindness, how to look for God’s blessings in ‘Mrs. B Goes To The Sea’

Author Kathleen Beining announces release of book five of ‘Mrs. Bumbleberry’ series

FESTUS, Mo. – In the fifth book of author Kathleen Beining’s Mrs. Bumbleberry series, Katy makes a new friend who helps her learn to look for the blessings God provides. “Mrs. B Goes To The Sea” (published by WestBow Press) demonstrates how simple acts of kindness can influence and enrich other people’s lives.

In the story, Katy and her mom are going with Mrs. Bumbleberry to visit her sister, Miss Eunice. Miss Eunice lives by the ocean. During their visit, Katy meets a little girl named Lydia. She and Lydia become friends while they build sand castles and collect shells. At the beach, she discovers there are daily blessings to be found if she takes the time to look for them.

“Today’s society tends to be self-centered with little concern for others,” says Beining. “This story encourages kindness and sharing and how these actions enrich everyone’s life, not just the recipient.”

An excerpt from “Mrs. B Goes To The Sea”:

After breakfast Katy and Mom went for a walk on the beach. Katy took her pail to collect sea shells. They walked along the sand where the waves rolled in. Katy picked up shells from the sand and tried to catch others in the waves. Her pail was half full by the time they walked back.
