Jack A. Hancock releases ‘The Cloud’

Science fiction book on alien attack presents unique, entertaining story premise

Jack A. Hancock’s education in engineering and meteorology and his fondness on mechanical things since he was a child has contributed in his interest in writing a science fiction story. Hancock’s published book “The Cloud” (published by iUniverse) presents a surprise beginning, which needs a solution for the humans to survive.

The fiction book deals with aliens that attack the world using a cloud to intercept the sun’s radiation. The aliens have a new kind of weapon. Their attack made the world cold, forcing the world to surrender and allow the aliens to occupy the earth. Eventually, the aliens were defeated by an air force colonel.

An excerpt from this book:

In all human ventures, there is always the factor of luck, the failure of the Aliens on the moon, the escape of the colonel and wife and the atomic bomb explosion on the Alien ships.

“The Cloud” makes readers curious on how an air force colonel defeated the aliens. “It (“The Cloud”) shows a solution to a difficult problem and modern society has difficult problems.”
