Royal ISD Makes Necessary Adjustments to Student Code of Conduct to Comply with HB 114, Mandatory DAEP Placement

This summer the 88th Texas Legislature passed House Bill 114 (HB 114) in response to the growing concerns surrounding e-cigarettes and vaping among young people. This law mandates that any student found in possession of, using, selling, giving, or delivering an e-cigarette (a vape device) on school premises or at any school-affiliated event must receive a discipline consequence at the Disciplinary Alternative Education Program (DAEP). Royal ISD: Annual Registration Completed for Falcon Students

As of this morning, annual registration has been completed for 1121 Falcon students, up 104 from yesterday afternoon. We currently have approximately 2726 registered students. That leaves around 1605 students without completed registration. Students without their annual registration complete will be required to complete it at the campus PRIOR to receiving schedules and teacher assignments at today and tomorrow’s Meet the Teacher and Meet the Falcon events. You must log into your Skyward parent account. Since 1945 the Fair has grown and added fund activities, community facilities, and expanded scholarship opportunities. This year the Fair awarded $1.5 million monetary awards in the different categories to students from the three Independent School Districts. Royal ISD had 61 entries this year.
