Texas State Parks Photo Contest Launches in Honor of 100-Year Celebration

Point, focus, shoot! In honor of its 100-year birthday celebration, Texas State Parks is hosting a photo contest throughout 2023 with the chance to win park passes, H-E-B gift cards and even a curated state park experience. 100 Houston Children to Celebrate the Holidays at 6th Annual Year of Joy Holiday Ice Skating Party

The 6th annual H-E-B Year of Joy Holiday Ice Skating Party,  the city’s only free  ice-skating party for children from underserved communities, takes place  4 – 6 p.m. Tues., Dec., 14, at Green Mountain Energy Ice at Discovery Green, 1500 McKinney. Some 100 children from Third Ward and surrounding areas will enjoy holiday fun on ice.
