12:00 pm: Library Helps Readers With Electronic Reading Devices And E-Books12:00 pm: Library Helps Readers With Electronic Reading Devices And E-Books – Do you have a new Kindle or Nook™, but you’re not sure how to use it? Fort Bend County Libraries’ Bob Lutts Fulshear/Simonton Branch Library will have an E-Reader Question-and-Answer session on Monday, January 23, from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm, in the Meeting Room of the library, located at 8100 FM 359 South in Fulshear. The e-Reader Question and Answer session is a walk-in clinic during which patrons can bring their mobile reading devices and have their questions answered about using the device, downloading ebooks, or streaming movies. Learn how easy it is to check out free ebooks, e-audiobooks, music, and movies from the library’s online digital collections, OverDrive and Hoopla. The session is free and open to the public. Reservations are not required. 10:30 am: January Children’s Programs At Fulshear/Simonton Branch Library10:30 am: January Children’s Programs At Fulshear/Simonton Branch Library – Family Story Time takes place on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, from 10:30 to 11:00 am, in the Meeting Room of the library. Families with children of all ages will enjoy stories, songs, and action rhymes. Craft packets will be given out at the end of each program, so that children may take them home to enjoy. Each week has a different theme. The schedule for January is as follows:
After-School Breaks – crafts, movies, stories, and more for school-aged children in grades 1 through 5 – take place on the 1st and 3rd Thursday, from 4:30-5:00 pm, in the Meeting Room. Materials for these programs are made possible by the Friends of the Bob Lutts Fulshear/Simonton Branch Library. The schedule of activities is as follows:
