The ESL Conversation Circles will take place in person at multiple locations in the Fort Bend County library system in June. Reservations are NOT required. The schedule is as follows:
o Wednesdays, June 1, 8, 15, 22, 29, 2:00-3:00 pm, Meeting Room.
o Fridays, June 10 and 24, 2:00-3:00 pm, Multipurpose Room. The program is free and open to the public. 2:30 pm: Teens Earn Volunteer-Service Hours At Libraries’ Ya Advisory Councils2:30 pm: Teens Earn Volunteer-Service Hours At Libraries’ Ya Advisory Councils – Teens can earn volunteer-service hours by participating in FBCL’s Young Adult Advisory Councils, where they can express ideas, help organize upcoming activities, and suggest new programs and books that would be of interest to teens at the library. “YA Bob Ross Painting Class” – Friday, June 24, 2:30-4:00 pm, Mission Bend Branch Library, 8421 Addicks Clodine Road. Bob Ross is known for his paintings that always had an outdoor theme and “happy little trees.” In this tutorial, learn how to paint Bob Ross’s “Purple Splendor.” Paint and paint brushes will be provided, but students should bring their own 16”x20” canvas. Registration required. The activities are free and open to the public. Some of the activities require registration.
