Free Tai Chi at Central Green Park
Saturday begins with a free outdoor Tai Chi class from 8:30 to 9 a.m. at Central Green Park, 23501 Cinco Ranch Boulevard.
The class is open to different ages and experience levels. Participants can learn movements designed to support balance, concentration, calmness and overall wellness.

Same-Day Animal Adoption Event at Katy Mills
Katy Mills and Special Pals are helping local animals search for permanent homes during a same-day adoption event from 1 to 4 p.m.
The event will take place near Entry 7 by Slick City inside Katy Mills, 5000 Katy Mills Circle.

Shop Local at the August KTX Market
More than 25 local vendors and makers are expected to participate in the August KTX Market from 5 to 9 p.m. at No Label Brewing Co., 5351 First Street.
The free-entry market will feature handmade products, clothing, jewelry, gifts, home décor, specialty treats and other items from local small businesses.

“Barbie” Outdoor Movie at Central Green Park
Families can finish Saturday with an outdoor showing of “Barbie” at Central Green Park.

The 2026 Texas Sales Tax Holiday continues through midnight Sunday, August 9.
Most qualifying clothing, footwear, backpacks and school supplies priced below $100 per item can be purchased without state or local sales tax.
