David Lewis returns to Farmer’s Market

(Columbus, TX) Back by popular demand, talented young musician, David Lewis returns to the Columbus Farmers’ Market Saturday, September 30th. This performance will be this Belleville resident’s third appearance at the market where he always draws large crowds. Lewis, now 17 years old, began singing and playing guitar at the age of seven. From the start, David has always been drawn to the classic country sounds.

This past year David formed the David Lewis Band. His sister, Emily, plays bass for the band and they will be performing together at the Farmers’ Market. The band has entertained crowds at festivals, parties, and the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo BBQ Cook-Off. Most recently, the band won the Country Showdown and will be advancing to the regional competition. The David Lewis Band also been selected as the opening act at the upcoming Austin County Fair on October 11th. The band’s playlist is filled with great hits by legendary country artists, as well as some of their own original material. David Lewis says his band is “living the dream of playing great country music for fans.”

The Columbus Farmers’ Market supports local farmers, gardeners, bakers and craftspeople who sell fresh produce, yard eggs, homemade jams, jellies & pickles, plants & herbs, baked goods, farm fresh meats, handmade crafts and ready-to-eat foods.
