HOUSTON – The 14th Annual Energy Day, Houston’s largest free family festival dedicated to science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM), will turn Sam Houston Park into a giant outdoor STEM playground. Visitors can meet energy industry experts from some of the largest energy companies in the world such as Chevron and Phillips 66, who will be participating with displays, activities, and hands-on experiments. Plus, K-12 children can learn about the many forms of energy that power daily life and the careers that STEM education can lead to.
What: Energy Day brings students, families, educators, and industry leaders together for a day of hands-on activities designed to make STEM exciting and accessible.

Visuals: See children and families interact with 50+ hands-on exhibits like the potato battery, pedal power, and experiments from some of the largest energy companies like Chevron and Phillips 66. New this year, kids can Paint a Tesla Cybertruck. Check presentations totaling $25,000 in awards will also be distributed to K-12 students who participated in our annual program.
