Sugar Land Arts & Music Fest Moves to Sugar Land Town Square, Drops Admission Fee for 2026

Free general admission and a new venue mark the largest changes in the festival’s -five-year history

SUGAR LAND, Texas – The Sugar Land Cultural Arts Foundation (SLCAF) announced today that the Sugar Land Arts & Music Fest, now in its fifth year, will move to Sugar Land Town Square and offer free general admission for the first time. The festival runs November 6 through 8, 2026.

The move relocates the event from its previous home at Smart Financial Center to Town Square’s walkable, open-air district, which includes on-site dining, parking, and a main stage in the center of the square. One of the venue’s original architects, who serves on the SLCAF board, helped guide the transition.

“Celebrating art and music is a wonderful way to unite our diverse community through shared creative experiences. We, SLCAF, hope everyone will come and enjoy this festival with us!” Bridget Yeung, Co-Chair, Sugar Land Arts & Music Fest

Admission to the festival’s three days of programming, which include 109 juried fine artists, live music across multiple stages, and food and wine from Town Square restaurants, will not require a ticket purchase. The foundation is shifting its funding model to rely on corporate sponsorships and artist booth fees, allowing general admission to remain free going forward. A VIP Opening Night option remains available on Friday, November 6, for attendees who want an elevated experience, with pricing to be announced.
