Katy National Night Out Brings the Community Together
KATY, TX
National Night Out is returning to Katy on Tuesday, October 6, bringing families, local law enforcement, first responders and community organizations together for a fun evening at Katy City Park.
The event will take place from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and is free for the community.
National Night Out started more than 40 years ago as a way to bring neighbors and local law enforcement together. Today, communities across the country use the event to build stronger relationships, promote public safety and give families a chance to meet the people who serve their neighborhoods.
Last year was a blast, with families enjoying the activities, emergency vehicles and the opportunity to meet local officers and first responders.
This year is expected to be another fun night for the entire family.
Come out and meet your local law enforcement, see emergency vehicles up close, learn about community resources and spend time with your neighbors.
The Katy News and the Katy Community Lions Club will also be there, so stop by and say hello.
National Night Out takes place Tuesday, October 6, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Katy City Park, 5850 Franz Road in Katy.
Bring the family and enjoy a fun night with the Katy community.
