ROSENBERG, TX – September 8, 2026 –The upcoming Texas New Fruit Growers Conference offers expert training for new and prospective fruit growers. The event runs from October 15 to October 16, 2026, at the Rosenberg Civic Center, 3825 TX-36, Rosenberg, TX.
Hosted by Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, this two-day comprehensive event offers practical, science-based instruction to help growers successfully launch or scale their fruit production enterprises. The conference is built around four core instructional components designed to provide both foundational knowledge and real-world application. These are:
- Four-Hour “Intro to Fruit Growing” Class, Seminars and Handouts
- “Tree-to-Plate” Networking Session for shared experiences and ideas
- Live-Action Laboratory and Hands-On Demonstrations
- Commercial Fruit Orchard Field Trip

Registration is now open. The fee structure for the two-day event is as follows:
- General Admission: $130 per person
- Sponsors: Sponsorship opportunities are available for $250 (Sponsorship includes a display table, provided meals, and event recognition.)
