Harris County, TX, August 7, 2026 – Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo will host an interactive community town hall on the budget process. Residents will have the chance to learn how the Harris County budget is developed, understand this year’s budget challenges, and share their priorities for county services.
Department heads and representatives from the Harris County Flood Control District, the Harris County Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management, and Harris County Public Health will be on hand to provide information, answer questions, distribute educational materials, and offer giveaways.
