Katy Families Can See Hot Wheels Monster Trucks in Houston
KATY, TX — Looking for a weekend adventure outside Katy? We found a high-energy family event happening in downtown Houston that may be worth the drive.
Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Live: Glow-N-Fire is taking over the Toyota Center on Saturday, August 1, and Sunday, August 2, 2026.
Families have three scheduled performances to choose from:
- Saturday, August 1 at 11:30 a.m.
- Saturday, August 1 at 6:30 p.m.
- Sunday, August 2 at 1:30 p.m.
Arena doors are scheduled to open approximately one hour before each performance.
What Katy families can expect
The Houston show brings the Hot Wheels experience to life with full-size monster trucks, jumps, new stunts, special lighting effects and freestyle motocross riders performing inside the arena.
The weekend’s lineup is expected to include the new Rhinomite monster truck along with other Hot Wheels favorites. Organizers are also promoting new monster-truck stunts and a no-handed front flip performed by freestyle motocross riders.
The Glow-N-Fire production uses special lighting and fire effects to create a theatrical indoor monster-truck experience.
Because the performances are inside the Toyota Center, Katy families can enjoy the action without spending hours outside in the August heat.

The pre-show experience allows fans to get closer to the monster trucks before the main event. It requires an additional ticket or package, and availability may be limited.
Planning the drive from Katy
Toyota Center is located at 1510 Polk Street in downtown Houston. Families traveling from Katy should allow extra time for Interstate 10 traffic, downtown construction, parking and the walk to the arena.
Tickets are digital and must be accessed through the AXS mobile application. According to Toyota Center, printed tickets and screenshots of ticket barcodes will not be accepted.
Guests are encouraged to travel light. Standard permitted bags may not exceed 10 by 6 by 2 inches. Diaper bags and medical bags are permitted but remain subject to inspection.
