Cinco Ranch High School students travel to San Antonio, Texas as Texas representatives to FBLA’s National Leadership Conference

Four Students Rise to Top Ten
After competing at the FBLA State Leadership Conference in March, fourteen hard-working, determined students from Cinco Ranch High School secured a spot in the top four in their respective competitions and were given the opportunity to proudly represent the Cinco Ranch High School chapter and the state of Texas at the Future Business Leaders of America’s National Leadership Conference in San Antonio, Texas. With the National Leadership Conference held in their home state, a powerful fire ignited in all fourteen of these competitors to take home the trophy for the lone star state, and these valiant students did not disappoint. Among thousands of other competitors from across the nation, four students managed to fight their way to the top marking 2026 as one of Cinco’s best performances and them as Cinco champions. Blazing the trail, Lucas Chen (11th) places 10th in Data Science & AI. Following the flame, Naitik Patel (10th) earns 8th place in Intro to Information Technology while David Disanto (11th) achieves 7th place in Personal Finance. Closing out our list of winners, Anika Das (10th) strikes gold, claiming 1st place in Intro to Marketing Concepts.
Beyond the Podium
Our competitors didn’t just solely compete, San Antonio is home to several famous tourist sites, including the San Antonio Riverwalk, Six Flags Fiesta, and the Alamo. From the adrenaline-pumping rollercoasters at Six Flags to peaceful strolls alongside the riverwalk, Cinco students had a plethora of opportunities to create lasting memories with their friends. These various sites helped ease the tension of competing and allowed for FBLA’s National Leadership Conference to be an exciting, unforgettable trip, regardless if they took home a medal.
When our Cinco students weren’t exploring the wondrous city of San Antonio, they were at the Henry B. González Convention Center attending insightful, business-centric workshops and trading pins with other fellow future business leaders, utilizing their business tactics to secure the best pins.
