Katy ISD Family Info. Sessions Explain the Transition Between Junior High & High School Jan. 16

KATY, TX [January 14, 2025] – As the course selection period approaches, Katy ISD’s Legacy Parent Academy will host an in-person session titled “Moving Up to Junior High or High School.” This event is designed to provide students and parents with valuable information about the transition to junior high and high school. The session is free for families, and no registration is required.

The presentation will be divided into two segments to ensure families receive the most relevant information.

• Transition to Junior High School – January 16, 2025, 6 – 7 p.m.
• Transition to High School – January 16, 2025, 7 – 8 p.m.

“We know that moving to junior high or high school represents a major step forward for students, and we want to provide families with the tools for their students to be successful,” said Latrice Patton, Coordinator for Academic Counseling, College & Career Guidance in Katy ISD.
