HOUSTON (Jan. 13, 2025) – This week marks “back to school” for thousands of college students across the state. The University of Houston-Downtown is celebrating its Week of Welcome with a rodeo-themed event at Marilyn Davies College of Business.
On Tuesday, Jan. 14, the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo (HLSR) comes to UHD from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at the Marilyn Davies College of Business with line dancing, a Rodeo clown, a cowboy, and Howdy, the HLSR mascot. The HLSR Go Tejano and Scholarship committees will also be on hand to offer Gators an opportunity to explore volunteer positions, scholarships, and more.
