Houston Regional Veterans Chamber of Commerce Announces Veterans Business Marketplace at Wings Over Houston Airshow 2024

Houston, TX (October 16, 2024) — The Houston Regional Veterans Chamber of Commerce (HRVCC) is excited to present the Veterans Business Marketplace at the Wings Over Houston Airshow 2024, set to take place on October 26-27 at Ellington Airport & Houston Spaceport (KEFD). This unique marketplace will feature over 40 veteran-owned businesses in a central location at one of the nation’s top airshows.

Veteran entrepreneurs from various industries will showcase their products and services under a spacious 3,200 sq. ft. tent located near the popular Legends & Heroes Autograph Tent. Open to all veteran-owned businesses (excluding non-profits and veteran service organizations), this marketplace will offer attendees a chance to support and engage with local veteran business leaders.

The Veterans Business Marketplace will be a highlight of the airshow, which is celebrating its 40th year as one of the largest aviation events in the United States. With over 110,000 attendees expected, including spectators, aviation enthusiasts, and veteran supporters, this event provides a significant opportunity for veteran-owned businesses to reach a wide and diverse audience.

The Wings Over Houston Airshow will feature spectacular performances, including a headlining appearance by the U.S. Navy Blue Angels and demonstrations of vintage World War II aircraft, modern military jets, and more. This family-friendly event has a rich history of supporting veterans, and the inclusion of the Veterans Business Marketplace underscores the airshow’s ongoing commitment to honoring the veteran community.

HRVCC Members are eligible for a discounted vendor rate of $299—a 26% savings—by using the member code available on the HRVCC login page. Non-members can register for $400. All vendors will be provided with a 6×3 table, two chairs, and lunch for two each day of the event.

“This year’s Wings Over Houston is not only a celebration of aviation but also of the veterans who have transitioned from serving their country to serving the community through business,” said Dave Weaver, Chamber President. “We encourage everyone to come out and support these veteran-owned businesses, while enjoying one of Houston’s premier events.”
