Learn how to identify and manage common vegetable garden pests and diseases using integrated pest management techniques in the April 20 Grow Your Own class offered by Fort Bend County Master Gardeners.
The free, 90-minute class “Vegetable Pest and Disease Management” will begin at 9 a.m. at the Bud O’Shieles Community Center, 1330 Band Road in Rosenberg.

Master Gardeners Nancy Shafer and Dan Lawlor will present the program. Lawlor of Sugar Land has been a Master Gardener since 2000. Shafer of Missouri City has been a Master Gardener since 2004.
Weather permitting, a visit to the FBMG Vegetable Garden is planned to scout for beneficial insects and evidence of pests and disease.
