The British International School of Houston announced today outstanding academic results with two perfect PSAT Test scores of 1520 – the maximum score possible.
In addition, students were recognized for obtaining the highest marks in the country for the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE ) results.
Five students were also acknowledged for attaining the Highest Mark in the United States for the General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE) examination results in History, French, Fine Arts, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics. To achieve this award, students had to compete with thousands of other students across the United States and globally for the same exam series and on the same subject.
“All of us here at British International School of Houston are incredibly proud of the achievements of our IGCSE and PSAT cohort,” said Barrie Scrymgeour, Principal at BIS Houston. “Our students showcased exceptional resilience, hard work, and determination all along the way. I’d like to also thank our dedicated and inspirational teachers for their role in helping our students make this year’s results so great,” he added.
Thanks to these excellent academic results, graduating students from BIS Houston have received offers to attend top 100 universities globally including Rice, UPenn, Oxford, Cambridge, Columbia, Stanford, and beyond.
