As Katy ISD continues to see fast growth among its student population, this week more than 140 Community Bond Advisory Committee (CBAC) members will come together to review the District’s campus and facility capital needs in consideration of a November 2023 bond referendum.
Media partners are invited to observe the CBAC meetings which will include discussions about enrollment projections, safety and security, and renovations and component replacements necessary at aging campuses and buildings across the district to support learners and staff.
Four CBAC meetings will take place at 5:30 p.m. on the following days:
- Wednesday, March 29
- Wednesday, April 5
- Wednesday, April 12
- Tuesday, April 18
The committee will have the option of presenting a recommendation to the Board of Trustees later this spring.
