Make-A-Wish Texas Gulf Coast and Louisiana is celebrating wish kid Mary’s wish to have her music professionally produced by hosting her debut public concert at Warehouse Live.
Mary is exceptionally creative, and she has been writing original music for guitar for most of her life. Her unique sound and style reflect her life journey, which includes an ongoing battle with leukemia. In July 2022, Mary began working with music producer Kenny Gardner to create her album.
After undergoing a bone marrow transplant in September, Mary was isolated in the hospital for 30 days. However, her desire to get back into the studio gave her the strength to recover.
On Friday, Make-A-Wish and wish sponsor Kirby Corporation will join Mary for her first public concert, during which she will perform several of her original songs. Making the evening even more special, Friday is also Mary’s 19th birthday.
The event is open to the public; doors open at 6:30 pm.
