Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Houston seventh annual Sporting Clays Tournament raises a record $200,000 for programs

Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Houston’s (BGCGH) seventh annual Sporting Clays Tournament on Nov. 18, brought in a record $200,000 to provide critical funds supporting Boys & Girls Clubs in 23 counties. The monies raised ensure that the Clubs will be able to continue to provide essential programming after school and in the summer to children and teens who need it the most.

The event, chaired by Brant Baird, started with a breakfast at 9 a.m. and was held at the Greater Houston Sports Club, 6700 McHard Rd. in Fort Bend County. Taking home first-place honors were Kelly McDaniel, Todd Harvey, Sean Goings and Michael Hatton. Second place winners were Tyler Cooper and Bruce Shuler, while Toby Zeringue, Matthew Todd, Jason Williams and Chris Colville took home third place honors.
