Something spooky this way comes to Fort Bend Children’s Discovery Center – A Very Special Project of the Children’s Museum of Houston! A myriad of magic, mystery and monsters have maneuvered their way into the Discovery Center for three weeks of Halloween! Come partake in spine-tingling experiments, spirit-lifting activities, and slime-filled fun during our “Halloween Monster Mayhem” from Oct. 11 to 29, 2022. Meander your way through the Discovery Center in search of goblins, goodies, and goo!
- Set out on a trick-or-treat quest from4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and all-day Saturday!

Who can resist the mysteries of magic? Spirits will rise during a jaw dropping magic show lead by magician Jamie Salinas.

We’re going batty for Vampirina! Join us for a fang-tastic event you’ll want to sink your teeth into as Vampirina makes a special appearance during a fan celebration at the Discovery Center.

There’s something strange in this neighborhood! Save the Museum from ectoplasmic chaos! Halloween season kicks off with a ghoulish and boo-tiful WonderWeek!
- Make ghosts appear as you practice sponge a painting technique in OcuSOFT Art Academy.
- Pull strings to make ghosts fly at Junktion.
- Save your place in your favorite spooky storybook by designing a ghost bookmark at Junktion.
- Learn how to use cornstarch peanuts to design Halloween costume accessories in Science Station.
- Bring to life creepy lifeforms that would live in your imaginary planet at Science Station.

MONSTER MAYHEM

Creepy, kooky and altogether spooky! This WonderWeek will have you concocting mysterious mad experiments and other monster-iffic activities as we continue to celebrate Halloween!
- Piece together a mythical monster in OcuSOFT Art Academy.
- Have you always wanted a pet monster? Someone to scare all the other monsters away? Adopt one in Junktion.
- Channel a monster mindset as you design a monster headband in Junktion.
- Go gaga for goo as you probe slime in Science Station.
- Bring to life creepy lifeforms that would live in your imaginary planet at Science Station.
