Bayou Preservation Association’s presents Bayou Wonderland gala Wednesday,  Apr. 27 at Houston Botanic Garden

Don’t be late for a very important date, as Bayou Preservation Association presents Bayou Wonderland on Wednesday, Apr. 27 at Houston Botanic Garden. This is the organization’s first in-person fundraiser since 2019. In keeping with the tradition of highlighting Houston-area bayous during its galas, Bayou Wonderland will have Sims Bayou as its backdrop. This beautiful waterway meanders through the 132-acre site, formerly the Glenbrook Golf Course, just south of downtown Houston.

Upon entering the party site located at the Garden’s Alcoves, guests will mix and mingle while enjoying adult libations and delicious appetizers as they take in the beauty around them. Entertainment will be in keeping with the “wonderland” theme, while dinner will be provided by Silver Stone.

Funds raised through Bayou Wonderland will support the Bayou Preservation Association’s CPR mission: to Celebrate, Protect and Restore the natural richness of all our bayous and streams. Ongoing programs include stream corridor restoration, bayou citizen science, trash-free bayous and bayou appreciation, while promoting recreational opportunities such as paddling, cycling, bird watching, photography and more.
