U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) today issued the following statement following the decision by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to further restrict monoclonal antibody treatments produced by Eli Lilly and Regeneron:
“The Biden administration’s track record on COVID is a disgrace. They’ve consistently politicized health and medicine, denying Texans and Americans live-saving treatments. After months of rationing critical antibody therapies, they now entirely pulled the approvals. Enough is enough. It’s time for the FDA and the Biden administration to put the interests of patients first and to stop politicizing COVID.”
