The Katy Independent School District will host College & Career Night next Wednesday, providing district families and students a chance to learn about a variety of college and career paths that students can take after graduation.

The event is set for 7-9 p.m. Oct. 6, at the Leonard E. Merrell Center, 6301 S. Stadium Lane.

“Approximately 200 representatives from community colleges, universities, fashion and culinary institutes, military academies, and Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) will be on hand. Students and families can ask questions about admission requirements as well as learn about programs of study and career opportunities for students,” Ronnie Edwards, assistant superintendent for school leadership & support, said.
