The Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information on a man who was part of an aggravated robbery in May.

Deputies said a couple returned on May 31 to their Katy-area apartment in the 21600 block of FM 1093. There, two armed suspects confronted the couple. The suspects stole the couple’s vehicle, cell phones, and a large sum of money.

Detectives retraced the activities of the victims. The process led to the identification and arrest of one of the two suspects. Camron Rashad Jenkins, 19, was out on bond in Harris County for an aggravated robbery there.

Jenkins was arrested on Aug. 17 in Harris County for unrelated charges. These charges included the unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and evading arrest.

Fort Bend County has placed a hold on Jenkins with Harris County in connection with the aggravated robbery of the Katy-area couple. His Fort Bend County bond is $100,000.

Anyone with information on Jenkins’s cohort responsible for participating in the Katy robbery is asked to call Fort Bend County Crime Stoppers at 281-342-TIPS (8477). Fort Bend Crime Stoppers will pay an anonymous cash reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and filling of charges for any felony crime.
