Fort Bend Christian Academy Hosts Team USA Softball and Team Alliance

The United States Women’s Softball Team stopped by FBCA for a three day practice on their #RoadtoTokyo, as they prepared to play Team Alliance at Constellation Field on June 19-20, 2021.

Team Alliance is an elite fastpitch softball team whose roster includes SEC All-American players, Montana Fouts and Kayla Kowalik. The Team Alliance also utilized FBCA’s facilities to prepare for their matchup versus Team USA.

Hosting both elite teams on campus was a fantastic opportunity for FBCA’s coaching staff and student-athletes to interact and learn from these accomplished players. In the 2020-2021 school year, FBCA graduated 13 student-athletes to play at the collegiate level bringing the total number of FBCA athletic alumni to over 140. FBCA is proud to be able to provide a well-designed and equipped space where local, collegiate, and professional athletes can utilize.

It was an extreme honor to be able to host Team USA Softball and support them on their road to the Olympics. To see the highest caliber athletes in the sport of softball was both humbling and exciting. Having an opportunity for FBCA to play a role in Team USA’s preparation for Tokyo will be remembered and cherished,” said Kelly Carroll, FBCA Director of Athletics and Head Softball Coach.
