The 2021 waterpark season kicks off Friday, May 28 when Typhoon Texas opens its family raft rides, twisting tube slides, free-fall body slides, children’s Gully Washer, Texas-sized wave pool and winding lazy river for the entire summer.
The west Houston waterpark will open its summer season with a three-day Welcome Back Beach Bash on Saturday, May 29 – Monday, May 31 featuring live music, strolling in-park entertainment and family-friendly activities.
Season passes ($69.99), any-day admission tickets ($39.99), and choose-your-day admission tickets (as low as $22.99) are available at typhoontexas.com. Season passes and any-day admission tickets also can be purchased at the Typhoon Texas ticket window.
Besides enjoying unlimited entry into the Typhoon Texas waterparks in Houston and Austin, season pass holders enjoy 15% off food, non-alcoholic drinks, fast passes, cabana rentals and retail purchases. They also receive a cashless pay wristband, discount coupons for in-park purchases and a discounted 2021 any-day guest ticket.
Typhoon Texas offers more than a mile of winding, twisting slide paths, Texas-size wave pool, lazy river the length of more than five football fields and children’s Gully Washer with a gigantic, 800-gallon water bucket, slides and more than 100 spray areas.
The Texas-themed waterpark serves up authentic Texas barbecue, slow smoked onsite daily served with zesty BBQ sauce made from scratch. Guests 21 and over also can enjoy draft and bottled beer, cocktails and frozen alcoholic drinks in the Double T Bar. As for new food-and-beverage offerings, the waterpark has added foot-long corn dogs, Typhoon sundaes with blue soft serve ice cream, warm, soft pretzels hand rolled onsite, and everyone’s favorite, Dippin’ Dots ice cream.

The waterpark is open daily, Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend. Hours are Monday – Thursday, 10:30 a.m. – 6 p.m.; and Friday – Sunday, 10:30 a.m. – 7 p.m.
