Due to the inclement weather this week, the Katy Independent School District FFA Livestock Show has been postponed to February 23-27. The updated schedule is as follows:
Tuesday, February 23
5 p.m. – Broiler Show
Wednesday, February 24
3 p.m. – Steers, Swine, Goats, and Lambs must be in place
3 – 4 p.m. – Steers, Swine, Goats, and Lambs Weigh-In
5 p.m. – Rabbit Show
Thursday, February 25
8 a.m. – Swine Show
1 p.m. – Steer Show
Friday, February 26
8 a.m. – Goat Show
10 a.m. – Lamb Show
1 p.m. – Auction Sale Meeting
Saturday, February 27
7 a.m. – Barn Sale
11 a.m. – Buyers’ Luncheon (By Invitation Only)
1 p.m. – Auction
The 2021 78th Annual Katy ISD FFA Livestock Show will take place at the Agricultural Sciences Center located at 5801 Katy Hockley Cut Off Road. Students will compete showing steers, goats, lambs, hogs, broilers, and rabbits. The public can support FFA students through auction and barn sale purchases along with add-on donations via in-person or online. Due to COVID protocols, a ticket is required to enter the facility.
