Lulac 2911 Fort Bend to Host 1st Christmas Toy Drive

Lulac Chapter 2911, chartered in 2020, is bringing hope to less fortunate children by partnering with many individuals, businesses, religious affiliations and beyond. Toys will go to Pancho Claus, who in the past 40 plus years has been a Latino Santa reaching out and spreading hope to tens of thousands of impoverished areas in Houston and surrounding cities. Pancho Claus will be on site!

Lulac 2911, A Hope and A Future, a non-partisan chapter, is paving the way into Fort Bend, Harris and Galveston Counties. Non-partisan means, we are working with ALL. No matter demographic, financial status, color, religion, sexual orientation, or political party, etc.

On Saturday, December 19th, Lulac 2911 Fort Bend is paying it forward by hosting its 1st Christmas Toy Drive and donating 3 of 4 boxes collected will go to Harris County. Sonia Rash, VP of Lulac 2911, from Fort Bend sees a despair need in Fort Bend County and is doing something about it!

Lulac 2911 mission is to unite all Hispanics and to empower all residents (Non-Hispanic and Hispanics) through partnership and Lulac National services. Educating: through roadmaps, partners, local community to bring togetherness. Serving: Identify areas in need of improvement and empower residents to serve, sow, and reap. Lulac 2911 goal to teach the richness of all Hispanic culture through art, history, and people.

When: Saturday, December 19th, 2020, Start at 12 pm to 3 pm

Where: Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 1504 Ave. D., Rosenberg, TX Pancho Claus to arrive at 1:00 pm – 2:30 pm

Why: To serve children who may be without a Christmas Toy this Christmas Season. Now, more than ever, we hope the community can rise up and reach in to be a blessing to children who have gone through so much this pandemic. Pancho Claus is coming to Fort Bend!
